Abstract: The grand narrative on the stage of Chinese drama in the 21st century still focuses on the revolutionary historical theme.There have been many stage works with the theme of commemorating the history of the revolution,reviewing the memory of the revolution,inheriting the revolutionary spirit,and promoting the revolutionary culture.Relying on the narrative of the presence for revolutionary history and the “humanized characterization” of revolutionary heroes,the dramatists or directors generally used “the expression of the emotion” as the approach and strategy to access to the revolutionary historic theme.Compared with the previous dramas creation,they achieved a breakthrough in the convergence of content and the rehearsal of inflexible mode.These innovations,which are based on the “humanistic position” and “microscopic perspective”,provide experience and reference for the same theme of drama in the future.
