明清时期冀南太行山区女娲信仰的地理分布与历史变迁——以女娲庙宇及碑刻为中心的考察

The Geographical Distribution and Historical Changes of the Nuwa Belief in the Taihang Mountains of Southern Hebei During the Ming and Qing Dynasties ——A Study Centered around the Nuwa Temples and Inscriptions on the Tablets

摘要: 河北省涉县是冀南太行山区女娲信仰的核心区域,女娲庙宇分布广泛,常建于山顶或山村最高处,称之为“顶”或“奶奶顶”。涉县女娲庙宇以中皇山娲皇宫为中心区域,由西向东呈条状分布,距离娲皇宫越近,分布越密集,越远则相对稀疏。冀南太行山区女娲奉祀起源较早,至迟在唐末宋初之时,女娲信仰已有一定规模,及至明清时期,在地域文化传统、女娲护佑事项与信众所求高度吻合、国家政策等多重因素的作用下,女娲信仰达到兴盛。就碑志来看,这一时期女娲信仰的内容也有一定变化,原有补天“文化英雄”的神格逐渐失落,其“始祖母”神格成为主导,在这一转变中,女娲作为生育、护佑子嗣的独立女神的身份越来越清晰。

Abstract: She County,Hebei Province is the core area of Nuwa belief in the Taihang Mountains of southern Hebei.Nuwa temples are widespread.They are often built on the top of mountains or at the highest point of mountain villages,and called the “Top”or “Grandma Top”.The Nuwa temples in She County are centered around the Wahuang Temple in Zhonghuangshan,and are distributed in a strip shape from west to east.The closer they are to the Wahuang Temple,the denser their distributions are;while the farther they are,the more sparse they are.The worship of Nuwa in the Taihang Mountains of southern Hebei had an early origin.At the end of the Tang and early Song Dynasties,the belief in Nuwa had already reached a certain scale.By the Ming and Qing Dynasties,under the multiple effects of regional cultural traditions,the high alignment between the protection of Nuwa and the demands of believers,and national policies,the belief in Nuwa reached its peak.From the perspective of the inscriptions on the tablets,there were also certain changes in the content of Nuwas belief during this period.The original deity of “cultural hero”who patched the sky gradually lost,and its “first grandmother” deity became dominant.In this transformation,Nuwas identity as an independent goddess who gave birth and protected her children became increasingly clear.
