Abstract: The mafia-style organization is a kind of high-level criminal group, which is often evolved from the evil forces criminal group. The distinction between them should be mainly focused on the difference of harmfulness. The former needs to form illegal control or significant influence in a certain region or industry, and the latter only requires a relatively abominable impact on society. Here, the provisions of the relevant judicial interpretation should be correctly understood and substantially interpreted, and we should give enough attention to the conditions of “protective umbrella”.
