Abstract: China-ASEAN cross-border telemarketing fraud cases are increasing year by year.China has difficulties in obtaining evidence,recovering criminal property and arresting criminals on these cases,and needs cooperation with ASEAN countries in police work.Based on good political and legal foundation,China and ASEAN have already developed police cooperation mode such as police intelligence sharing,joint arrest of suspect,transferring repatriated suspect and resident police liaison officer.However,there are still some related problems,such as the insufficient supply of legal resources on which cooperation is based,the informal establishment of the police intelligence information sharing mechanism without being formally extablished,and the improvement of the law enforcement cooperation mechanism.So China and ASEAN need to tamp the legal foundation of cross-border telemarketing fraud police cooperation,perfect police intelligence information sharing mechanism and explore the establishment of a unified police cooperation organization.
