Abstract: In promoting the development of agricultural production and maintaining social stability,the official utilization and supervision of grain seeds in the Song Dynasty is an important part of them.In the Song Dynasty,the authorities made extensive using of grain seeds through borrowing,granting,price reduction and land reclamation activities,and implemented relevant regulatory measures in its preparation,purchase,sowing,repayment,illegal issuance,compulsory lending and other links.In the Song Dynasty,there were corresponding rewards and punishments for officials in the utilization and supervision of grain seeds,like cultivating wastland field,rescuing victims and resettling relevant personnel,actively promoting the reclamation of land and embezzlement of assets and money.A series of relevant measures formulated and implemented by the Song authorities around the utilization and supervision of grain seeds were of positive significance to promoting the development of agriculture and disaster relief activities in the Song Dynasty.
