Abstract: The comedy movies directed by Feng Xiaogang permeate many traditional cultural connotation, which can motivate the sense of identity of the audience to the traditional culture. The comedy material taunted the social realities of the day, and at the same time revealed the social values that traditional culture to the present age. Through the analyses to other works, this text dissects the traditional cultural connotation of his works and modern society’s acknowledgement to the traditional cultural connotation.
