Abstract: Xi Jinping called on the young people of the new era to enhance their ambition,backbone and spirit.In order to “life their spirits”,young people should start with establishing correct values,be taught to be moral,determined and diligent with Chinese excellent traditional family style and family precepts in the new era,and be guided to mark the first button of life,so as to cultivate young peoples values such as ideals,patriotism,righteousness and interests,struggle and loyalty,which will help young people in the new era grow their ambition,improve their backbone and increase their confidence.
