Abstract: The establishment of the second level discipline of party affairs work theory and practice under the first level discipline of the history and party building of the Communist Party of China is the result of comprehensive factors such as party attention,policy orientation,market demand,and academic popularity.It has sufficient theoretical support,profound historical origins,and distinct characteristics of the times.It is not only necessary to clarify the disciplinary nature,research content,and research objects of the theory and practice of party affairs work,but also to clarify the mutual relationship between the theory and practice of party affairs work and the history and party building of the Communist Party of China,in order to understand the necessity of constructing the discipline of party affairs work theory and practice;and to clarify the mutual relationship between the theory and practice of party affairs work and other secondary disciplines under the history and party building of the Communist Party of China,in order to understand the importance of constructing the discipline of party affairs work theory and practice.On this basis,we will strengthen the academic nature of party affairs work research,expand the perspective of party affairs work research,combine independent development based on disciplinary characteristics with integrated development under the background of first level disciplines,scientifically design a reasonable curriculum system,and truly achieve a virtuous cycle from practice to theory,and then from theory to practice.
