Abstract: Relocation has brought relocated young people into a brand new urban social space, and their spiritual lives have begun to shift from rural to modern.Based on the analysis framework of “Social Space-Spiritual Life”,through field research on two large urban centralized resettlement sites,SXGZ and BYL,it was found that the social space in which relocated adolescents are located after relocation exhibits characteristics of “strong reference” and “flexible norms”.Under the influence of the new social space, relocated teenagers exhibit tired spiritual production and achieve transcendence in spiritual pursuit. The fundamental reason for the polarization of the spiritual life of relocated youth is that they have not fully integrated into the new social space emotionally. Therefore,in the follow-up support work of relocated communities governance, modern urban social spaces should be created as the emotional attachment of relocated youth, and a spiritual life community should be constructed, becoming a new home that combines modernity and rural characteristics.
