Review of “April 4th” Children's Day Reported by Shenbao before the War of Resistance Against Japan

Abstract: Before the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Shenbao not only reported the establishment of Children's Day and the celebrations of Shanghai, but also spread new educational concepts of children by Children's Day, as well as the reflection of Children's Day. The more commendable was that commercial advertisements contained patriotic education for children during Children's Day. The reports of “April 4th” Children's Day promoted the development of children's education and embodied its features of times as well as instructiveness.
