Abstract: The evaluation of Ding Ling and her achievements should not be limited to the narrow vision of “pure literature”,but should be studied and evaluated from the perspective of big literature and even culture.Ding Ling has always regarded spiritual pursuit as higher than material enjoyment and the pursuit of maximum spiritual self-realization.Her participation in the cause of the Party made her find the best way to break through and surpass herself and realize the value of life.Ding Lings pursuit of life is reflected in his works in different periods,which brings different ideological implication,spiritual temperament,cultural value and literary value from others.The identity of “CPC member” is very important to Ding Lings life and creation.Ding Lings words and deeds in his later years should be explained from her Party spirit and political belief and her understanding of literary function.Proximity to politics has brought twists and turns and hardships to Ding Ling.The far-left route has made her lose more than 20 years of valuable creative time,but on the other hand,suffering and bottom experience have also helped her,and brought unique connotation and meaning to her works.
