Research on Ideological and Political Education of “Drip Irrigation” Courses under the Background of New Engineering

Abstract: The essence of engineering education under the background of new engineering is a cultural phenomenon that aims at cultivating excellent engineering and technical talents who meet the development requirements of the new era and have innovation consciousness.The most essential problem in the traditional engineering education mode is that the engineering education ignores the cultural significance of the curriculum itself,which leads to the lack of engineering culture of engineering and technical talents.The “drip irrigation” ideological and political education mode can tap the ideological and political value of the new engineering education curriculum itself,corresponding with the essence of engineering education under the background of new engineering.The reform of “drip irrigation” education should include three aspects:innovating the cognitive thinking of new engineering students,internalizing excellent engineering culture and improving the engineering cultural quality of engineering students.
