Abstract: Based on the data of the dynamic monitoring survey of Chinas floating population from 2010 to 2018,combined with the national population census and demographic statistics from 2000 to 2020,this paper analyzes the overall trend of the change of marriage and childbearing behavior and the concept of marriage and childbearing of the floating population in China,and explores the internal mechanism of the change of the marriage and childbearing concept of the floating population.The results show that the age of first marriage is delayed,the stability of marriage is weakened,the age of first childbearing is delayed,the fertility rate is slightly rebounded,the family size is reduced,and the trend of family migration is enhanced.The main reasons for the change of the floating populations concept of marriage and childbearing are the dual characteristics of tradition and modernity,such as urban multicultural integration,high social inclusiveness,lifestyle changes,economic cost pressures,and barriers to the household registration system.Therefore,specific measures and suggestions are put forward:deepen the reform of the household registration system,improve the social security of the floating population,improve the supporting measures for childbirth,alleviate the economic pressure of the floating population,strengthen social awareness and education,shape a new culture of marriage and childbearing,increase vocational skills training,and improve the income level of the floating population.
