Abstract: Xu Ling’s poetry has a great value of aesthetic.The rhythms of his poetry are strict，the high level of his rhythm has surpassed other poets around him，and mature metrical poetry has appeared.The rhymes are harmonious and cautious，his rhymes nearly reach the degree in Tang Dynasty.He has made use of exquisite couplets and parallelism，his poetic works are attentively constituted with a number of splendid antithetical couplet.He has even employed some loaned antitheses and flawing antithetical couplets.His poetry employed appropriate allusions.He is expert in utilizing a lot of proverbial allusions and covert allusions，and elaborately combines them into the poetry.The poem has entered an imperceptible wonderland.The voice and sentiment are euphonic，and the sound and the emotion complement each other.The poet conveys poetry feelings relying on the emotion of voices, incorporates them into poems，and the poem has lingering charm.
