The Influencing Factors of Obtaining Ethnic Minority Preferential Policy for the College Entrance Examination in the Elite Universities ——Evidence from the Freshmen of 2019 in University A

Abstract: Based on the survey data from Freshmen of 2019 in University A,through descriptive statistics and the establishment of regression models,this study analyzes the implementation status of ethnic minority preferential policy for college entrance examination and its impact on the admission opportunities of elite university.The ethnic minority preferential policy for college entrance examination have improved the entrance opportunities of ethnic minority access to elite university.Students with poor family background and low administrative level in their home location are more likely to receive preferential policies.Therefore,the state should continue to uphold and improve the ethnic minority preferential policy for college entrance examination and improve the accuracy of this policy.At the same time,basic education resources are tilted towards the underdeveloped minority areas,improving the quality of education in all stages of minority areas,and promoting social mobility and educational equity.
