Abstract: The advocacy and debate of revolutionary literature in 1928,Mao Zedongs Yanan literary and artistic “speech” in 1942,Xi Jinpings Beijing literary and artistic “speech” in 2014 are the three key nodes of promoting the mainstreaming and sinicization of Marxist Literary Theory. The advocacy and debate of revolutionary literature made Marxist literary theory widely disseminated and became a theoretical guide for left-wing literatures creation, which established its mainstream status in Chinese literary circles.Mao Zedongs Yanan literature and art“speech” analyzed the practical problems existing in the development of literature and art based on the basic principles of Marxism, and constructed a literary and artistic theory centered on workers, peasants and soldiers with the core of “for what people” and “how to do”,which became a milestone in the process of sinicization of Marxist literary theory.Xi Jinpings Beijing literary and artistic “speech” not only profoundly reveals the law and trend of the development of the new eras literary and art in practice and points out the direction for the current development of literature and art,but also theoretically constructs a socialism with Chinese characteristics literature and art discourse system of “people-centered”.On the basis of creative inheritance and innovative development of Mao Zedongs literary thought, the sinicization of Marxist literary theory has been pushed to a historical height.
Key words: Marxism-Leninism literary theory, sinicization, evolutionary literature, Mao Zedong, Xi Jinping
