Abstract: Hebei University considers cultivating and practicing the socialism core values as the basic task of basic level party construction and ideological and political education, actively explores new patterns of party members' education which is suitable for students’ practical situation and characteristics, implements the “Foundation Construction Project” in the probationary party members and freshmen. “Foundation Construction Project”, is a refining and deepening of the “dripping irrigation type education” mode of the Hebei University’s ideological and political education, an innovative measure of the socialist core values taking roots in university, and has positive social impacts.
