The Analysis on the Impact of Population Accumulationin Metropolitan Cities on the Industrial Development --On the Basis of Evidence about the Sub provincial or Provincial

Abstract: Metropolitan cities are playing a rather crucial role in the partial or national development.The essay takes the municipalities directly under the central government and some sub provincial cities as examples to demonstrate the relationship between industrial development and population accumulation.It uses the panel statistics model and introduces the variables relating to population density and floating population proportion.Besides,it establishes the second and third production functions of 16 metropolitan cities and explores the durable stimulus of the population accumulation to industrial development and its updating.It further discusses the contribution labor force have made during the second and third industrial development.It turns out,population accumulation and its floating carry important implications for the industrial development and transformation.So does the labor force.Similarly,the sustainably rapid development of industry contributes significantly to the improvement of population quality and the change of their intellectual structure.
