British Measures to Deal with School Bullying and Their Implications for China

Abstract: School bullying is a global phenomenon, and it has even evolved into a serious social problem in some countries. In Britain there is a relatively well-established preventive and intervening system for school bullying. Based on schools, this system connects the laws and policies on anti-bully of central and local governments with professional supports from social organizations. It takes advantages of diversified measures of anti-bully to promote student develop healthily in a safe school environment. We may learn some lessons from UK for making relative laws on school bully, establishing punishment system in schools, and establishing a comprehensive anti-school bully system in the whole society.
