Abstract: In the long river of the inheritance of Confucian Qi theory,Wang Tingxiang played a connecting role.He inherited the tradition of Qi studies from Xunzi,Dong Zhongshu,Zhang Zai,Zhu Xi,and others,enlightened Wang Fuzhi,Dai Zhen,Tan Citong,and others,and promoted the academic style of governing the world and promoting practical use.He drew on the strengths of others and formed his own style,focusing on concepts such as the origin of Qi,Qi transformation,and Qi species,and showcasing the pinnacle of the Qi worldview.On the basis of the Qi worldview,modern advanced Chinese people gradually accepted material concepts and established a new worldview.
