Abstract: From mass literature and art to new mass literature and art,it is a process of continuous progress and dynamic development,inseparable from the changes of the times and the updating and iteration of media.In this process,the mass literature and art in the history of modern Chinese literature represents a popularization movement in which literati writers actively reached out to the general public during the printing era.The new mass literature and art in the network era,on the other hand,is a marriage between online media and the grassroots.When compared with the “old” mass literature and art,the “new” of the new mass literature and art becomes evident.The so-called new mass literature and art refers to literary and artistic activities that take the public as the creative subject and are geared towards the public in the context of technological equality.In the era of artificial intelligence,the rapid development of technology has made it possible for everyone to create,further highlighting the media characteristics and popularity of the new mass literature and art.In the future,with the iterative upgrading of artificial intelligence technology,the new mass literature and art will inevitably present a new style.
