Abstract: As a composite system，financial ecosystem，which holds the lifeblood of the new urbanization，plays a role of “blood transfusion” and “hematopoiesis”.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces except Tibet in China from 2005 to 2013，this paper constructs the evaluating index system of the financial ecosystem and new urbanization quality.The system coupling degree model and the global factor analysis method measure the coupling degree of the financial ecosystem and the new type of urbanization quality separately.In addition，we empirically analyzes the influence of the financial coupling degree on the new urbanization quality.The results are as follows:there is a significant difference in the degree of coupling coordination and the quality of the new urbanization among different regions.Moreover，there is a significant positive correlation between the two variables，and with the improvement of the quality of the new urbanization，the role of the financial ecosystem coupling to the new urbanization is more obvious.Therefore，regions should pay attention to the coordination of the financial ecological system and the new urbanization quality to achieve the interactive development between them.
