Abstract: Party affairs work is a fundamental project of the Communist Party of China over its century-long journey.Its theoretical foundation is based on Marxism and its sinicized and contemporary theories of party affairs work.Its historical foundation is derived from the experiences and lessons of the CPCs and other cummunist Partys party work.Its realistic foundation is rooted in the needs of the Party as a Marxist party,a mission-oriented party,and the “vanguard of two causes”.Over the past century,the CPCs party affairs work can be divided into four periods:party affairs work during the New Democratic Revolution,party affairs work during the period of socialist revolution and construction,party affairs work during the new period of reform,opening up and socialist modernization,and party affairs work in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The systems,institutions,and activities of party affairs work vary in different periods.Over the past century,the CPC has accumulated rich experience in the practice of party affairs work,which mainly includes “always maintaining a clear party nature,strictly following intra-party regulations,consistently applying systematic thinking,and persisting in a practice-oriented approach”.
