The Measurement of Job Satisfaction and Analysis of Influencing Factors of the Group of Returnee Teachers in Universities ——Based on “The Third Global Survey of Academic Profession Development”

Abstract: In recent years,the proportion of returnee teachers in universities has been expanding continuously.Returnee teachers in universities are playing an increasingly important role in the development of higher education in China.An in-depth understanding of the job satisfaction of returnee teachers and possible policy recommendations to improve their job satisfaction are of great significance.Based on the data of the “The Third Global Survey of Academic Profession Development”,this research conducted an empirical analysis on the job satisfaction of returnee teachers in universities in China.The study found that the level of satisfaction of the returnee teachers on the employment status,working environment,income status and the overall professional environment is quite different.Based on this,the countermeasures to improve the job satisfaction of the returnee teachers in universities are also put forward.
