Abstract: the ultimate goal of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is to enable students to learn the language knowledge,and skills, and to understand the national culture of the target language. Chinese films and television dramas have rich language and cultural resources, fresh language scenes and background information provides a true language environment for the students to learn Chinese language . This paper puts forward some suggestions of teaching Chinese as a foreign language by analyzing the characteristics of Chinese films and television.
