Abstract: Cultural confidence is one of the important contents of Xi Jin-ping thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and the education of cultural confidence in the course —“Outline of Chinese Modern History”—is an important entry point to promote and implement the work of “Three Entering” in the Thought.Cultural confidence is closely related to the teaching of the course.It means that cultural confidence is an important purpose of the “Outline” course teaching,while modern Chinese history is the main carrier of cultural confidence education.It is absolutely necessary and important to strengthen the education of cultural confidence in the course,so that college students can resist the dissemination of historical nihilism and insist on the subjectivity of socialist culture with Chinese Characteristics.In the teaching,we should persist in the integration of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,and guide college students to establish correct conception of history,nation,country and culture.It is not only helpful to promote the work of “Three Entering” in the Xi Jin-ping thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,but beneficial to deepen the educational reform of the ideological and political theory course in the colleges and universities.
