Abstract: The “Internet plus” for the ideological and political work in colleges and universities is both opportunities and challenges. To successfully complete the ideological and political work of colleges and universities in the era of “Internet plus”, we must adhere to Marxist discourse power of ideological and political work in cyberspace, adhere to the principle of student-centered, and adhere to principle of combination of classified guidance and key breakthroughs. To promote the innovation of ideological and political work of colleges and universities in the era of “Internet plus”, we should use the Internet thinking to innovate ideological and political theory teaching, establish network platform of ideological and political work, establish mechanism of information feedback and evaluation, strengthen the construction of ideological and political work team, and transfer from “course of ideological and political education” to “course for ideological and political education”.
