Abstract: The Confucian ideal personality theory makes a great contribution to the personality of Chinese nation and also is a valuable culture. As contemporary college students, their personality construction is linked closely with its guide. Within its inclusiveness and cohesive force, the theory serves as the source of power which Chinese people depend on during the survival and development and creative transformation, becoming the essential theoretical foundation. In addition, combining the metaphysical spirit vision with the physical practice standard helps college students to move towards a rational way to cultivate themselves.
