Abstract: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration is an important population agglomeration area and economic growth pole in China. How to promote the formation of a reasonable functional spatial distribution of urban agglomeration is the key to build a world-class urban agglomeration with the capital as the core. Aiming at the unbalance phenomenon of functional spatial disorder, contradiction between economic function and ecological function, and mismatch between industrial function and urban function of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, this paper constructs the functional spatial state index of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, measures and expresses the unbalanced state, and puts forward that the optimization of functional structure should lead to the optimization of spatial structure and the construction of rational functional structure. Systematic measures, such as strengthening the functions of cities and towns, and strengthening the system guarantee, are taken to solve the problems of unbalanced time sequence and space of the functional structure of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration.
