Abstract: Ye Jiaying reflected a more distinctive spirit of innovation in the study of Ci.On the basis of inheriting Wang Guowei,Gu Sui and other predecessors,she took her own sense of mind and life experience as the basis,and in comparison of Chinese and Western literary theories,she made a deep analysis and a more systematic theoretical construction of the “Bixing and Jituo” of Changzhou school and the “Jingjie” of Wang Guowei.She proposed the “XingFaGanDong”,divided the Ci into lyric,poetic,and architectionic,and traced the reasons for the abundance of Ci,and summarized their beauty characteristics as “a beauty of passive virtue”.Ye’s innovative spirit and thinking have a leading role and demonstration significance in the establishment of the theoretical system of Chinese Ci Xue.
