A Study on the Judges’ Law of Chu Ru Ren Zui in Song Dynasty

Abstract: The law of judges Chu Ru Ren Zui is a legal norm used since the Tang and Song dynasties to regulate judicial officials intentional or negligent misconduct in sentencing.It includes two types of Chu Ru Ren Zui by intention or by negligence.The judges criminal acts was standardized in Tang Lv Shu Yi for the first time and was continued in Song Xing Tong.In Song Dynasty,the law of Chu Ru Ren Zui,especially the law about Shi Ru Ren Zui,had fully developed,which was the peak of the development of ancient Chinese law on crimes.The Criminal Law of the Song Dynasty had the characteristics of independent application,imbalanced development,and expanded scope of application,but its implementation effect was limited.
