Abstract: To realize the needs of the people for a better life,the fundamental thing is to realize the needs of the working people for a better life.The working people create the material basis for realizing the peoples needs for a better life through work,so they should live with dignity.Labor itself is an important part of a better life.Workers should be guaranteed to have decent work,that is,decent employment.Working with dignity rather than pain is the key link to fully realize human nature and realize a better life.In the language of daily life,a decent life is actually another expression of a better life.The basic content of Marxs concept of decent work corresponds to the fundamental dimension of realizing the peoples good life needs,which enlightens us that the peoples good life needs to be realized in decent work.
